Make a hat that’s yours and no one else’s. At the JC Country Hat Bar, you choose your hat and design it with help from our team, whether it’s just for you or a whole group celebrating together. Hat bars are available at both of our Utah locations: Layton Hills Mall and Junction Commons in Park City.

How It Works

Send a request
Fill out our request form with your first and secondchoice for date and time. This is a request, not a confirmed booking.

We review it
We’ll check our schedule and email you within 1 to 2 business days.

Pay your deposit
If we can host you, we’ll send you a secure payment link. Your time is held once your deposit is
paid.

Come to your appointment, pick your hat, and create something you’ll be proud to wear.
Deposit Policy
A deposit is required to hold your date. Deposits start at $50 and increase with the size of your group. Your time is not confirmed until your deposit is paid.
Parties of 8 or fewer: Your deposit goes toward your hat total.
Parties of more than 8: Deposit amounts and terms vary. We’ll discuss them with you after we accept your request.
Cancellations: Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least 3 days before your event. If you cancel within 3 days of your event, your deposit is kept. If you’d like to rebook after that, a new deposit will be required.
Rescheduling: If you need to move your event, let us know at least 24 hours before your original appointment and we’ll transfer your deposit to your new date, based on availability.
Weather and safety: In cases of extreme weather, JC Country has the final decision on whether we can safely open or hold your event. If we decide conditions are unsafe for our employees or guests, we’ll contact you as soon as possible and either refund your deposit in full or move it to a new date.
Traveling Hat Bar
Want the hat bar at your event? We’ll bring it to you. We travel to bring the custom hat barexperience to your party, wedding, team event, or celebration.
Pricing: A flat $500 traveling fee covers our travel to you. Hats and add-ons are priced separately and are the same as in our tores.

How much is the deposit?
Deposits start at $50 and go up with the size of your group. We’ll tell you the exact amount when we accept your request.
Does my deposit go toward my hat?
For parties of 8 or fewer, yes. Your deposit goes toward your hat total. For parties of more than 8, we’ll discuss it after we accept your request.
Is my booking confirmed when I submit the form?
No. The form is a request. Your time is confirmed once we approve it and your deposit is paid.
What does branding include?
Your hat bar experience includes branding with up to 2 letters or 1 symbol. Additional
letters or symbols are $25 each.
Can I get my felt hat steam shaped?
Yes. Steam shaping is available for felt hats only. Please mention it in the Additional
Notes section of your request.
Can I get a hand-burned design?
Yes. Hand-burned designs are special order. We’ll plan the design at your appointment, finish it afterward, and then ship it to you or have it ready for pickup.
How much is the traveling hat bar?
The traveling fee is a flat $500, which covers our travel to your event. Hats and add-ons are priced separately.
Are hat prices different for a traveling hat bar?
No. Hats and add-ons are the same price as in our stores.
